June celebrated her victory with every opportunity she could take-- and when her opponent was Saiph victory came very easily and in quick, self esteem raising bouts of goodness. It was little moments like these that made the injury seem non-existent until she had an unfortunate move of the leg. Or perhaps Saiph elbowing her accidentally.
She smiled up to him after retrieving her six, seven, and eight of clubs and arranged them into neat pile. "Next time pay attention what you put down."

NANOWRIMO PROJECT CH. 6By Monday-- June had long realized that life with Heka, caused more than a few consequences to her personal pride, sense-of-self, and mental wellbeing in many, many, many ways. Perhaps the fact that he ate-- unlike Saiph's less than frequent eating-- Heka needed food as often as she herself; and was completely malcontent with going hungry with June.NANOWRIMO PROJECT CH. 6
Part of Sunday was spent getting Saiph to get food for them-- in the process they had to guide him through what and what not was edible.

NANOWRIMO PROJECT CH.4The phone was rather largely built-- too big to be simply pocketed and probably meant to be carried along in a pouch or backpack. It was an odd looking thing; colored in a light blue and yellow. It seemed to lack an antenna on it; and the buttons for numbers were incredibly large when compared to the cell phones of her friends.NANOWRIMO PROJECT CH.4
Maybe the owners simply had very large fingers?
She remembered that the owner was a child.
